Registration Fee

There are four categories of registration for Congress:

  • Onsite Attendee: $80 per registration for members 18 and older to attend at UC Santa Barbara and stay on campus.
  • Day Pass Attendee: $80 for 3 or 4 days, $70 for 2 days, $35 for 1 day for members 18 and older staying off campus.
  • Virtual Attendee: $35 per registration for members 18 and older attend via Zoom and conference calls
  • Children and youth 17 or younger:  there is no registration fee for attendees 17 or younger, attending onsite or virtually.

NOTE:  There is a fee of $8/day for parking on campus.  This is paid directly to UCSB using a mobile app to register your license plate and providing a credit card to which the fee is charged. A link to the app will be provided when you register for Congress and indicate that you desire parking.

Lodging and Meal Options on campus

Those staying on campus have the option of staying for 2, 3 or 4 nights, and either sharing a room or having a single room (at a higher rate).

Congress starts on Friday afternoon, however, a Thursday night lodging option is available for those arriving early to attend the Regional Council meeting, help with Congress set-up, or spend time in the area before the Congress starts.

The amounts shown below are the price per person for lodging and meals based on number of nights (the Congress registration fee is additional), for adults, youth and children. There is the option to share a room or have a single room at a higher price.

Children up to 3 

Children 3 years old and younger can stay in adult room and enter the dining hall for meals at no charge.

Notes about Meal Plans:

  1. The meal plan for those staying on campus, arriving on Friday or Saturday, includes dinner on day of arrival, breakfast, lunch and dinner through Sunday and breakfast on Monday. You will receive meal tickets upon arrival for all the meals included with your lodging package.
  2. As the dining hall is not open until dinner on Friday, no meals are included on Thursday. There are a number of restaurants available close to campus.
  3. Lunch on Monday is not included in any of the packages, but there is the option to pay for it with a credit card at the dining commons.
  4. Individuals registered to attend but staying offsite have the option to purchase meals at the Dining Commons starting Friday evening.
  5. Special diets can be requested for those who follow a medically restricted diet due to a food allergy, Celiac Disease and/or Non-Celiac Gluten/Wheat Sensitivity. Special diets must be requested at least three weeks prior to the event.  Please register before July 2 if you have this requirement.

Additional Details

  • Although there is no registration fee for children/youth 0-17 attending onsite, a registration form must be completed for all children/youth.
  • There is no room and board cost for children 3 and under who stay in parent’s room and enter the dining hall with parent(s).
